Fia Fia Follow Up

WOW!  What an amazing night Fia Fia was on Wednesday.  We hope to have some photos to share via the blog shortly.

Today we talked about the performance, and the students then used their iPads to draw a picture of themselves on the stage and talk about their picture as they created.

Flying in the Sky

Today Ms George bought out a huge piece of tulle fabric as motivation for our writing.  After being covered by the fabric as we moved around the room, we brainstormed ideas of what it felt like.  These were the rich ideas that Class 20 suggested.

We created the following story based on our favourite idea:

Picnic Time!

Today we designed a story around a picture from last years picnic. Ideas and words were gifted to the children and a basic story developed. As we sung the children added in more bits and pieces to make their story more interesting. Listen to this wonderful story from the beautiful children in Class 20.

The Hungry Brown Horse

After seeing the horses in the paddock next to the field, Class 20 wrote a story.

"I can see a hungry brown horse wearing a sun coat, eating the grass, in the green paddock."

Our GREAT Weekends!

Today Class 20 talked about our great weekends and we wrote stories about what we did.  Some students used the iPads to record their stories.

The big yellow bulldozer

Class 20 wrote a story about a big yellow bulldozer that we saw in our playground.  We practised our story by singing it and making actions to help us.  We hope you enjoy our story!
