Our Blog

Welcome to Room 19's Blog for 2016. We are a Year 1 class at Pt England School, set in beautiful Point England, Auckland, New Zealand. This year we will be learning reading, writing and maths all on our iPads. Make sure you keep checking in with us and see how we are progressing throughout the year. Celebrating our week :)

All the students in Class 20 have been working really hard this week!  We've done some amazing learning in all areas and would like to share some of that with our readers!

Holly created an amazing picture of a giraffe, after seeing one on our trip to the Zoo in week 1 :)  Holly has only been at school 3 weeks!


Oalii did some amazing addition learning in maths :)

 



Phoenix made a terrific effort with reading the book "Going to the Beach".  Mrs Belt rewarded her with some stickers.  Here is her follow up activity :)

    Class 20! You have been doing amazing work! I loved Holly's amazing giraffe and it is so cool to see the awesome learning of Oalli and Pheonix! Class 24 has been talking about the giraffes we saw at the zoo this week too!

    Way to go Mrs. Belt, Mrs. George and Class 20!

    Hi Class 20, wow you kids are awesome. Oalli you are a math master and Holly your giraffe looks like the one I saw at the zoo just the other day :)
